Why Them?

Reasons as to why I love these three

Although the three of them have never really gotten to know each other as much as I'd like them to (the only peaceful interaction between these three was in Final Plus, after all), I believe Shinn, Kira, and Athrun share a certain bond, other than being the protagonists of SEED Destiny.

Each of them has stumbled onto war as lost young boys, still struggling to understand the complications that lie before them, and justify their own values and morals. Each has experienced the scars that come with conflict, fought for their loved ones, and even grieved over losing them. Each one also fought for their own personal gain; their own lives and pride. And because these three are brilliant people, they have all come out better men in the process.
